THE UIP BUENOS AIRES 2021 IS ON DEMAND (DR. OSCAR HUGO BOTTINI PRESENTS THE UIP WORLD GENERAL COUNCIL HELDED IN BUENOS AIRES)

Worldwide UIP Buenos Aires 2021 Phlebology, Lymphology and Aesthetic, helded online on last September 25-27th, hosted meetings of global, continental and national interest.

World General Council UIP (International Union of Phlebology) session hosted 75 Presidents of scientific societies from 55 countries, and 27 Scientific Societies sessions and Congress of continental and national interest were performed in 3 parallel virtual rooms, accordingly with the list reported at the bottom.

Buenos Aires 2021 was a success, with 1,600 registered attendees, more than 200 international speakers, and 50 scientific sessions. In the Phlebology section, topics such as Vascular Diagnosis, Endovascular Procedures, Thrombosis, and Chronic Pelvic Venous Diseases have been deeply addressed. The attention was also focused on Vascular Rehabilitation, Wound Care, and Cosmetic Medicine.

A special mention has to be reserved to the symposia focusing on Net Clinical Benefit (NCB) in Phlebo-Lymphology and Biosignaling Target in thrombotic risk management because of the stellar Faculty involved, the top scientific level of speeches and the following very stimulating and in-depth discussions.
